| The 5k runs take place every first Sunday of the month.
The 5ks have been taking place since July 2005 and they are organised with the collaboration of the Friends of Alexandra Park. The course is flat, traffic free and inside the park – road/tarmac surface. The runs are under UK Athletics Rules (uk:athletics Licence no. 10411). The course is a certified accurate 5k by uk:athletics. The race is ideal for novices, but it is also a fast course for experienced runners. The 5k course consists of 3 laps to the outmost paths inside the park (see 1 lap course in red). 5km = 3.107 miles
